Tucson was a nice place to see NCAA's. McHale Center is probably my favorite venue for 1st round games ever. Loved the way the outside circle of the areana is open with plenty of foodstands. Great views from all seating. The Arena scorboard could have been improved (haven'y been there now in 5-6 years so they might have done that). Tucson oitself is just a little too sleepy for me. The hotel selection is good, but other activities around town sure seemed limited. Still, for a basketball weekend, a great place to visit.

Yeah this is really a neat place. Great weather and scenery, even culture. A little slow for those outrageous types.

Visited Tucson in mid Feb. and we loved it! Temps were in the mid 70's, nice sun, and really clean air. Great place to watch spring training. While the players work out you can be one of a handful at most watching. Great for autograph seekers etc. Spring training here in Tucson with the Diamondbacks, Rockies, and White Sox is in my opinion the most intimate place to watch spring training. You dont have the huge crowds like florida or even Phoenix area. Spent 2 weeks in Tucson and it was 70's sunny everyday. Beats the Florida rain I encountered last year.

Everybody enjoys Tucson. Really beautiful area and great winter weather. A fair amount of history actually. College-y, but a fun night scene. Great SW cuisine.

Tucson doesnt have any major league teams, except in spring training. Rockies, DBacks, and White Sox play here. TEP is a VERY nice stadium. Easy traffic access, and nice seats and views. Football has the Wildcats on campus and is nice, but having problem selling out lately (cause of losing streaks). The NCAA UofA wildcats are here too, and tickets sellout for the season minutes after going out every year. Very COLLEGE tuned sport fans. Night scene is alive, with alot of clubs and import auto stuff. tucsonnightly.com has a great site for that stuff in detail.
