Went to the RCA Dome for playoff football game. The bench seats are TERRIBLE. The fans boo injured players from the other team. I've never seen that anywhere else... classless! I'm done rooting for the Colts after that experience.
The rest of the city is as generic as can be. Indy has nothing to set itself apart from the pack.

Pacers are still minor league, the Gelded Colts still can't shake their stolen heritage. Pathetic people with IQ's of a grain of sand. Most states have laws prohibiting one from wedding their sibling. When are these pathetic inbreeds going to figure it out? Hate the place, polluted river and garbage for food. One dump claims "World famous shrimp cocktail". Where do they get this famous shrimp........the outhouse?

Nothing at all unique about this town. It is a sprawled out suburban hell. The affluent parts along the outerbelt (465) are incredibly generic. The downtown core is ok, but nothing really special. The skyline is small and pathetic, and the people are as generic and small-minded as they come!

Indianapolis is a great city for many things and the best for sports. There is a reason the Final Four keeps coming back. For all you who think Indianapolis is lame, it is probably because your team lost...sorry.

Enjoyed myself and had a lot of fun, despite poor showing by the Raiders. Met a lot great fans...a couple of losers, but no more than most places. Night life was pretty good lots of pretty faces. Good golfing in the area also.

Conseco Fieldhouse is a must see for any NBA fan but other than that Indianapolis pretty much sucks. More like Indiacrapolis. Unless you are a big Nascar or other racing fan its a really boring city. Once the Pacers game ended there wasn't much to do. The downtown mall was kinda nice but nothing spectacular. There is a couple of decent restaurants downtown but other than that there is nothing to do there.

Indy is a great town. Compared to cities of similar size, Indy ranks near the top. Once they finish the new Colts stadium it will be even better!

Great sports town. Has everything you want if you're not an East coast prick like most people judging on this site. Clean downtown and people are friendly.

Decent restaurants even if they are mostly chains. Hotels seem to get better and more plentiful everytime I go there. Colts and Pacers both excellent teams playing in fun venues.

Most boring trip I've ever on. Useless bus service, piss poor food and that thing they call a "dome" looks more like an embedded tick.

Go out there twice a year for Colts games. Being from NJ I love the place. Clean, downtown safe. People are friendly. Museums are nice. Food is good but not like what we have in NJ. Everything is less expensive than what I am used to in NJ. Prices in the RCA Dome are excellent. Very fan friendly. St Elmo's is awesome!

Having just moved here from NYC, Indy is no NYC or Chicago. The people here are much friendlier, and the downtown area is very clean, much cleaner than most cities. The RCA Dome is not great, but the new stadium will help that. Indianapolis is a very nice town, and easy on the wallet. Only complaint is the rush hour traffic on I-65 south of downtown, they dont handle interstate backups here as well as in NYC.
